Nineteenth Meeting of the States Parties (19MSP)

Presidency

The 19MSP was presided by H.E. Robbert Jan Gabriëlse, Permanent Representative of the Netherlands to the Conference on Disarmament, Geneva, and Disarmament Ambassador at-large, who was elected at the 2019 Fourth Review Conference in Oslo. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Meeting took place from 15-19 November 2021 in virtual format from The Hague, Netherlands.

In addition to the 19MSP, the Netherlands presided over the following meetings in 2021:

During the 19MSP, the Netherlands in its capacity as President hosted a side event on a pillar of victim assistance, psychological and psychosocial support. This support is essential to ensure the social well-being, self-reliance, and successful socioeconomic reintegration of mine survivors.
